We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable care provider that supports children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours in residential and outreach settings. This is a rewarding and dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, emotionally intelligent environment and is passionate about promoting positive change.
Providing consistent, trauma-informed support to children and young people
Building positive, trusting relationships that support emotional development and stability
Managing challenging behaviours with patience, structure, and resilience
Supporting with education, daily routines, and recreational activities
Maintaining safeguarding standards and adhering to care plans
Working closely with other professionals (social workers, therapists, etc.)
Proven experience supporting children or young people with EBD and/or complex behaviours
Full UK Manual Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle - essential for travel between services
Right to work in the UK - no current or future sponsorship requirements
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and behavioural management techniques
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins if required
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
