Job summary

SCR is seeking a passionate Childrens Support Worker to join our team on a flexible full-time basis. You will work with young people to maintain a high standard of care and support their emotional wellbeing, helping them exercise their rights and decisions.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential), and at least 6 months of experience in a similar setting. A DBS disclosure is required, with sleep-ins possible on the rota.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• 6 months minimum experience in a similar setting.
• Enhanced DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure will be required.

• Deliver a high standard of care as part of a team.

Job description

We are looking for passionate Childrens Support Workers who are available to work on a flexible full time basis.

As a Childrens Support Worker you will work as part of a team to delivery a high standard of care at all times and support the Young Persons emotional wellbeing. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

The successful candidate must have;

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is great but not essential.
• 6 months minimum experience working in a similar setting
• Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm
• Dedicated and committed with a “can-do” attitude

• Flexible working hours on a rota basis including sleep-ins if needed.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
