Job summary

Voyage Care in Brentwood, Essex is seeking a Day Support Worker to help people gain independence in daily life within a friendly residential service. Typical shifts are long days from 8am to 10pm, with ongoing training and support.

You’ll teach life skills, assist with personal care, encourage community participation and support social activities. A full UK driving licence and PBS experience are essential, with a focus on reflective practice.

Qualifications

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Be resilient, flexible and calm in approach.
  • Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Be confident in reflective practice.
  • Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories or trauma backgrounds.
