Job description

Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Team in Laburnum Grove, Thedford.

Located in Thetford, Norfolk, Laburnum Grove is a welcoming extra care service offering a collection of one-bedroom apartments for people aged 65 and over, designed to support independent living within a safe and friendly community.

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover., As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
