Job summary

Radis Community Care in Wymondham is seeking dedicated Support Workers for our Extra Care Scheme at Robert Kett Court. The role includes assisting residents with mobility, meals, social activities and personal care to promote independence.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. The service supports residents in a dementia-friendly environment, with a focus on safety, compassion, and person-centered care across shifting patterns.

Job description

Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Team in Robert Kett Court, Wymondham

The service comprises 40 self-contained apartments, including specialist accommodation for people living with dementia, helping residents to maintain their independence while having access to care and support whenever it is needed.

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover., As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
