Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (full-time and part-time) to join the team at Laburnum Grove, Thetford, Norfolk. The role supports elderly residents in an extra care setting, promoting independence and social engagement while assisting with daily living activities.

Shifts vary between mornings and late shifts, with alternate weekends and cover for sickness and annual leave. Training is provided, and a pension and benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Assist elderly individuals experiencing physical frailty to maintain independence.
• Assist people with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect while delivering care to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with moving safely to dining areas and communal spaces.
• Engage residents in recreational and social activities both individually and in groups.
• Support with personal care and daily living tasks as requested by residents.
