Job summary

Voyage Care in Clacton-on-Sea is seeking genuinely caring Day Support Workers to help people gain more independence in daily life within a warm, supportive team.

You will teach life skills, assist with personal care, encourage community access, and take part in a range of activities—from outings to home-based leisure.

For this role, female applicants only, a full UK driving licence is preferred; training is provided and DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be resilient, flexible, and composed in their approach.
• Have experience following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and reflective practice.
• Have experience supporting individuals with enhanced needs, including distress, mental health, autism, and trauma.

Pay rate 13.79ph

Our supported living service in Clacton‑on‑Sea is welcoming and friendly, with no two days the same. You’ll be supporting people by teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging access to the local community, and taking part in a range of activities. One day you could be out enjoying local bars and pubs, and the next you could be unwinding at home playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema.
