Job summary

Voyage Care in Swaffham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily life. You will work within a friendly team to support individuals in personal care, daily activities, and community engagement.

Driving licence is required; DBS checks and references apply. The role is centred on making a real difference in people’s lives while providing compassionate, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities to promote independence.
• Support individuals with personal care tasks with dignity and respect.
• Encourage community access and participation in social and activities.
• Assist with shopping, appointments and day-to-day tasks as needed.
• Support individuals to set and reach personal goals and develop new skills.
• Work within a dynamic team to provide high-quality support.

Job description

Support Worker – Swaffham - £13.05 per hour

PLEASE NOTE THAT A FULL MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC UK DRIVING LICENSE IS REQUIRED AS PART OF THIS ROLE

Typical Shifts are :Mon - Sun 7 am -3pm 3pm-10 pm Nights 10pm-7am

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Swaffham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community assisting with activities or shopping , the next you could be unwinding in service or helping them reach a new goal.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
