A leading disability support organization is hiring a Support Worker to assist adults with acquired brain injuries. You'll work closely with a therapy team to promote independence and deliver effective care. This role includes a comprehensive training program and contributions to a positive living environment.
Full time, 34.5 hours per week. You must be able to work the full time hours as advertised.
Shifts patters are: Days shifts available- 8am - 8pm / (12 hour shifts) or 8am-2pm / 2pm-8pm (6 hour shifts)
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
We are based on Radford Close, Offerton, Stockport, SK2 5DL. Please check the location before applying.
Oakwood is an acquired brain injury unit based in Offerton, Stockport. You will be supporting adults living with the effects of an acquired brain injury or associated neurological conditions. You will be working alongside our physiotherapy team, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapists and Neuropsychologist, ensuring goals and interventions set by our therapy team are met.
