Empowering U Healthcare is seeking dedicated Care Assistants to support children and adults with complex needs in clients' homes in Stafford. Roles include live-in care with 4 on 4 off rotations and potential access to adapted vehicles for community outings.
You will provide personal care, mobility support, medication assistance where required, meal preparation, and help with daily living tasks while promoting independence and wellbeing.

We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.
Available Role: Stafford (ST19)
Client: You will be supporting individuals in your own homes with complex needs, including:
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Mental health support needs
Placements are live-in, typically on a 4 on 4 off basis, and may include access to adapted vehicles for community outings. Pet in the home, Small Dog
Pay: £143.13 per day (£133.13 + £10 daily food allowance)
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and drinking
Support with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
Assist with medication administration, nebulisers, and seizure management where required
Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping
Encourage independence, companionship, and community engagement
Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing
Maintain accurate care records and follow individual care plans
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and internal teams
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Caring nature and genuine desire to help others
6+ months care experience (essential)
Complex Care Experience
A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
Strong verbal and written English skills
Fluency in English
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
