Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is recruiting dedicated Care Assistants to support children and adults with complex needs in their own homes, including Stafford (ST19). Placements are live-in, typically 4 on 4 off, with access to adapted vehicles and a daily food allowance.

You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care and work with healthcare professionals to maintain wellbeing. Role requires minimum 6 months UK care experience, a compassionate approach, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • 6+ months care experience (essential).
  • Complex care experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and drinking.
  • Support with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers.
  • Assist with medication administration, nebulisers, and seizure management where required.
  • Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
  • Encourage independence, companionship, and community engagement.
  • Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate care records and follow individual care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and internal teams.

We are currently recruitingdedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistantsto support bothchildren and adults with complex needs.


Available Role: Stafford (ST19)


Client: You will be supporting individuals in their own homes with complex needs, including:



  • Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome


  • Mental health support needs



Placements are live-in, typically on a 4 on 4 off basis, and may include access to adapted vehicles for community outings. Pet in the home, Small Dog
Pay: £143.13 per day (£133.13 + £10 daily food allowance)


About the role

Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families


  • Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies



What We’re Looking For


  • Caring nature and genuine desire to help others


  • 6+ months care experience (essential)


  • Complex Care Experience


  • A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach


  • Strong verbal and written English skills


  • Fluency in English


  • Ability to work both independently and within a team


  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)


  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
