Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our on-site team in Jarrow. You’ll provide person-centred support to adults in our service, helping them build independence, pursue goals and enjoy daily life in a supportive environment.

Full training is provided, including a 7-day fully paid induction. The role offers permanent contracts with paid holiday, pension scheme and opportunities for career progression.

Please note: This role involves supporting adults who may display behaviours that challenge. Experience with complex needs is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

The Role

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Job Type: Permanent

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to the people living in our service, helping them build independence, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.

You could be supporting someone with their daily routine, accessing the community, taking part in activities, developing life skills or simply providing reassurance when they need it.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans
  • Supporting with daily living activities and personal care where required
  • Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion
