Do you have experience in hospitality and customer service? Would you like to make a real difference in the community away from the noises of the city, surrounded by a bed of greenery?
If so, Sherwood House could be the right place for you. We have a fantastic opportunity for Support Workers to join our dedicated team, and we would like to show you in this video why Sherwood House is a great place to work.

Like them, you will also feel a change of pace thanks to the home’s scenery, as it is situated in the small village of Linby who won Nottinghamshire's "best kept village" award in 2013.
As a Support Worker at Sherwood House, your role will involve offering practical and emotional support to our residents. You will support them to live as independently as possible whilst allowing the residents to guide their support needs. As Sherwood House has a Chef and an Activity Coordinator in the team, the focus of your role will be supporting residents to maintain their personal hygiene (which includes providing personal care), supporting them to spend time in their community, and providing companionship.
Due to the needs of the residents, there may be elements of moving & handling and risk management involved in the role; as such, you will need to be willing and able to undertake these duties. Take a look at the Role Profile at the bottom of the page to find out more!
