Job description

Female Support Worker

Full time / Part time (should be able to work more than 20 hours due to shift pattern)

You are required to work sleep-in shifts as part of the role, and the cover of the service will be within a 10-mile radius of the city center.

Drivers preferred.

We are looking for people to join our friendly and welcoming team in Sheffield Outreach, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, where you will have the opportunity to enhance people’s lives. We deliver creative, dynamic, and person-centered services providing a range of individualized support to people living in outreach and supported living services.

Your role would include supporting adults with conditions such as learning disabilities, Autism, mental health issues, and physical conditions to live as independently as possible. You will support people in learning and developing new skills, engaging in meaningful activities, and life skills such as personal care, budgeting, shopping, medication management, cooking, cleaning, attending appointments, and participating in community activities.

This role offers the chance to work with a great team and make a real difference. We will support your career development through training and growth opportunities.

This role may include full-time shift work, including evenings, sleepovers, nights, and weekends. Sleep-in shifts are essential.

Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.

An enhanced Adult DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
