Children's Residential - Support Worker

If so, we're hiring Support Workers for our new Children's Residential Home inSheffield!

Location: Sheffield S4

Job Types: Full-Time / Part-time / Zero Hours (across a full rota pattern)

Salary:

Support Worker - Up to £27,120 - £29,200per annum (£12.00 - £13.00) DoE & Qualifications.

Package is inclusive of 4 sleep-ins per month and based on a 40 hour per week average.

The Role:

  • Assist with the care of our children and young people aged 12-17 – ensuring that a homely environment in maintained. Contributing to meeting each child’s physical, emotional, social and educational needs.
  • Build positive relationships with children and support their development – whilst ensuring that they are kept safe.
  • Working within a Team to advocate for children's needs

Our Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have a genuine desire to improve lives and promote self-esteem
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathy
  • Stay calm under pressure and work flexibly
  • Work as part of a team - bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role
  • Either have their Level 3 Children Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent) OR is committed to working towards.
  • Be willing to learn and go the extra mile
