Support Worker in Salisbury

£28,875 per annum

Permanent positions, working up to 45 hours per week

Role Overview

We are seeking Support Workers in Salisbury to join immediately and provide support to clients with diverse needs such as learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

Person Specification and Responsibilities

1. Previous experience in health and social care is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
2. Kind, caring, empathetic, and compassionate nature.
3. Flexible to work on a rota including days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
4. Proactive and diligent attitude.
5. Ability to work on rotating shifts.
6. Assist with moving and handling, using wheelchairs, ceiling hoists, and walking frames.
7. Support with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, and oral hygiene.
8. Administer medication and PEG feeding as required.
9. Support clients in activities and hobbies, domestic duties, and food preparation.
10. Liaise with healthcare professionals and record daily notes.
