Job summary

Priority Recruitment Services is excited to present a brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in Romsey. Our client requires an active, compassionate caregiver to support a client living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, including personal care and the use of hoists, in home and community settings.

The role involves weekend availability (every Sunday, ad-hoc), driving with a full UK license, and taking part in a learning and development program with access to online courses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving license.
• Experience supporting a client with cerebral palsy is desirable.
• Experience with epilepsy is advantageous.
• Candidate must be physically active to assist with a busy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with personal care and use of hoists.
• Assist with activities in home and in the community.
• Provide safe, active support during outings and appointments.

Requirements

• Drive & have a full UK license
• Must be able to drive and hold a UK license
• Previous experience supporting children with complex conditions (brain injuries and epilepsy is desirable)
• Must be physically active to support the service user with a busy schedule

Salary & Benefits

• Above market pay rate: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
