Job summary

Surrey Independent Living Charity is seeking a reliable and proactive Support Worker to provide supervision and daily living support for Toni, helping her stay active and connected.

The role involves accompanying Toni to activities, attending appointments, and building a trusting relationship through consistent, person-centred care in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Providing consistent supervision and support throughout the day
• Supporting attendance at regular activities such as swimming, the gym, and crafts
• Encouraging social engagement, including meals out and visiting family
• Accompanying on trips out, such as seaside visits, garden centres, and nature walks
• Attending and supporting with appointments (e.g. GP, hospital, hearing/eyesight tests, Job Centre/DWP)
