Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking two compassionate Personal Assistants to support a vibrant young woman living with a brain injury and epilepsy. This part-time role focuses on promoting independence, enabling participation in activities, and building confidence through positive, person-centred care.

The successful candidates will accompany her to appointments, manage daily routines, and contribute to a fulfilling lifestyle with a supportive care team.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Support Worker or Personal Assistant.
  • Passion for empowering independence.
  • Experience with complex needs beneficial.
  • Driving license (UK) preferable.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Personal Assistant – Part-Time Day Shifts | Tuesday to Friday | 7am-6pm

Superior Healthcare is recruiting for two compassionate and proactive Support Workers/Personal Assistants to support a vibrant young woman living with a brain injury and epilepsy.

We’re looking for people who see beyond a diagnosis and are passionate about enabling somebody to lead an active, fulfilling and meaningful life. This role is not just about providing support. It’s about encouraging independence, developing skills, building confidence and creating opportunities for new experiences.

About the Person

The person you’ll be supporting is intelligent, witty, sociable and determined to continue widening her world. She has a fantastic sense of humour, loves meeting people and enjoys a busy lifestyle filled with activities and adventures.

  • Dogs and animal therapy

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Experience as a Support Worker or Personal Assistant
  • A genuine passion for enabling independence
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
  • An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries (desirable)
  • Experience of epilepsy and seizure management (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive, patient and proactive approach

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people get the most out of life.

Shift Pattern

Tuesday to Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm

The family would ideally like to recruit two part-time team members to share these hours and provide consistency within the support team.
