Our new service, Great Meadows, supports six people with diverse needs, including emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and expressing their true selves.

Your role is to support individuals in leading a 'Gloriously ordinary' life filled with opportunities, fun, and achievement of personal goals. While the role can be challenging, the rewards are immense—such as helping someone express their identity and pursue their dreams, like attending the Pride festival near Brighton.

We seek adaptable, flexible, mature individuals who can support independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking, and innovative thinking. Some individuals may experience self-harm, anxiety, or display behaviors of concern, which you will be trained to manage.

Currently, all supported individuals receive several hours of 1:1 support during the day, along with shared support during day and night shifts. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with people experiencing enduring mental health challenges, an interest in the psychology of complex behaviors, and a willingness to learn and apply Positive Behaviour Support.

Active Prospects is recruiting Day and Night Support Workers for our complex care service in Redhill, Surrey.

Great Meadows is conveniently located near public transport, with a short walk from the bus stop/train station. Drivers are welcome, with free onsite parking available.

In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive pay rate of £12.75 per hour, with additional pay on some bank holidays and when taking maternity, paternity, or adoption leave.
