Base pay range

Support Worker - £13.10 per hour

Contract: Full time - 36hrs or 48hrs p/w available

Working Hours: Days - 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15) includes alternative weekends.

About The Service

Mill River Lodge care home is situated in the picturesque West Sussex town of Horsham and is close to the town centre with all its shops and amenities. The superb purpose built care home provides 70 spacious en-suite bedrooms divided equally into 7 separate self-contained wings each with their own lounge and dining areas and team of dedicated professional care staff. The care of the individual is our highest priority.

About The Role

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Support Worker to join the team at Mill River Lodge in Horsham. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Mill River Lodge has an excellent reputation as highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. Assisting service user’s with washing, dressing, and promoting independence where possible. No day is the same asides from the enormous sense of satisfaction you will feel every day knowing that you are always making a difference to someone’s life.
