Job summary

Voyage Care in Bramley, Leeds is seeking a genuine, hands-on Support Worker to help people gain independence and improve quality of life. You will work within a dynamic team to support individuals, teaching life skills, assisting with personal care and encouraging community engagement.

This ABI service offers varied days, including working with adults in day-to-day activities; the role requires flexibility across shifts and being fully flexible to cover weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for individuals, preferably with acquired brain injury.
• Flexible to work both weekdays and weekends.
• Subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Teach life skills and encourage social activities.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Support community access and outings with individuals.
• Engage in activities plus outings to restaurants, cinema, etc.

Support Worker – Bramley, Leeds - £12.72 per hour
Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 7:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 9:30pm.
*Must be fully flexible to complete both shift patterns - weekdays and weekends*

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service, Summerfield Court in Bramley, Leeds is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
