Dimensions is seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker in Poole (BH17) to support two gentlemen with complex needs across two homes. The role includes personal care, PEG feeding, and enabling access to community activities.

The position is part-time (25-30 hours per week) with shift patterns that include early, late, long days and sleep-ins. A full UK/EU automatic driving licence is essential. The pay starts at £13.26 per hour and will increase to £13.71 from 1 October 2026.

Shift Patterns: The role includes a mixture of:

• Early shifts/Late shifts/Long days
• A minimum of one sleep-in shift per week is required.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Support Worker to join our team, providing support across two homes for two gentlemen with complex support needs.

You will support:

• A 56-year-old gentleman with Down's Syndrome and an eating disorder
• A 28-year-old gentleman with severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, and behaviours of distress

Both gentlemen require:

• Full personal care
• PEG feeding
• Support with daily living activities
• Assistance to access and enjoy their local community

They have a variety of interests, including:

• Listening to Stevie Wonder and other music
• Playing drums
• Dancing
• Bowling
• Trips to the beach
• Visiting the pub
• Spending time out and about in the community

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting each person to live a full and active life.
