Job description

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis of up to 25 hours per week, with flexible hours to suit the applicant. The role is based in the Penrith area. The salary offered is £14.65 per hour on weekdays and £15.66 per hour on weekends.

CCMS is committed to delivering excellent support to our clients and their families, prioritizing their thoughts and expectations. We specialize in case management services for adults and children recovering from acquired or traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, and related disabilities.

The Support Worker Role

Additional support workers are needed for a gentleman in his early 70s living independently in Penrith. He has an acquired brain injury, uses a walking stick, and has mild to moderate cognitive impairments. The role involves supporting the client and promoting independence through tasks such as household chores, personal care, shopping, medication administration, and outings to local cafes and places of interest.

What We Are Looking For

Ideal candidates will possess good communication skills, patience, problem-solving abilities, and a good sense of humor. The role involves daytime hours only, approximately 5 hours per day. Full training and regular supervision will be provided by the Senior Support Worker. A full UK driving license is essential.

Please note that we cannot sponsor visas; therefore, candidates requiring a sponsorship certificate to work in the UK cannot be considered.
