Support Worker - Pembroke Dock - Full Time 39 hours - £13.45 to £13.75 per hour

About Stockwell Road:

Just five minutes from Pembroke Dock with its magnificent Norman castle and with stunning views of the Cleddau Estuary, Stockwell Road offers a peaceful home for up to four adults from the age of 18. The home's four double bedrooms extend over three floors with a large lounge, kitchen and dining area providing communal spaces to socialise and to practice life skills. There are gardens and a horticulture area with outdoor seating too. Stockwell Road is a welcoming specialist home that offers a balance of learning, leisure and life skills, and a place that puts adults at the centre of their own progression pathway.

Position: Support Worker

As a Support Worker at Stockwell Road, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our people, supporting their daily activities, additional needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including therapists and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
  • Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
  • Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team.
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Requirements:
