Job summary

Portman Recruitment is recruiting experienced Support Workers for current and upcoming temporary assignments across Nottinghamshire.

You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental-health needs, physical disabilities and complex or challenging support needs. Flexible day, evening, weekend, sleep-in and waking-night work may be available.

A DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required, and drivers are preferred for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in supported living, residential care, or mental health support.
• Experience with complex behaviours, autism, or forensic histories is valuable.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.

We are looking for caring, resilient and committed Support Workers who can build positive professional relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Applicants should have recent professional experience within supported living, residential care, mental-health support or a similar environment. Experience with complex behaviour, forensic histories, autism or positive behaviour support would be particularly valuable.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.

Flexible day, evening, weekend, sleep-in and waking-night work may be available.

An enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, current mandatory training and the right to work in the UK are required. Drivers are preferred for some assignments.
