Support Worker - Women’s Accommodation Services

New Hope Women’s Accommodation Services is seeking to hire 1 full-time and 1 part-time female Support Worker to join our team. We are looking for individuals who share our values and can support women with diverse needs, including mental health, domestic violence, self-harm, addiction, and complex needs. The role involves assisting residents in working towards independent living.

Note: Due to the nature of our work, we are currently only hiring female staff.

We pride ourselves on prioritizing the individual and supporting them to achieve independence. We offer excellent training within a supportive team environment.

The Role

The Support Worker will be responsible for working with residents to address their individual needs and help them progress towards independent living. Building effective relationships with residents, the successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in working with individuals with mental health issues and other complex needs such as homelessness and offending behaviors. The role includes supporting clients to build confidence, learn life skills, manage emotions, and access external support for long-term goals.

Requirements:

• Experience working with women with complex needs
• Driving license and access to a vehicle are essential
