Job summary

Careline Lifestyles - St Stephen's Court is seeking compassionate Support Workers in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will provide person-centred support to residents, help with daily living activities and community engagement, and promote independence, dignity and inclusion. Full-time and part-time roles available with a guaranteed 7-day fully paid induction and ongoing training. DBS check may be required.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to the people living in our service, helping them build independence, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.

You could be supporting someone with their daily routine, accessing the community, taking part in activities, developing life skills or simply providing reassurance when they need it.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans
• Supporting with daily living activities and personal care where required
• Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion
• Building positive and trusting relationships
• Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge
• Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement
• Supporting individuals to develop life skills and confidence
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working positively with colleagues, families and other professionals
