Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Support Worker to join Essential Care and Support Limited in Murton. You will support young adults with complex needs, building relationships and encouraging independence.

You will help with daily tasks, personal care, and outings; 20 hours per week (Mon or Thu, with Sat or Sun) at £12.71 per hour (£13,218.40 per year) and a £300 joining bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals with individuals.

• Plan and participate in days out to support individuals’ interests.
• Help individuals become more independent wherever possible.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You
will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a
respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults
to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with
huge rewards.

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
