National Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join Essential Care and Support Limited in Sunderland. You will support young adults with complex needs, build trusting relationships, and help them achieve personal goals in a compassionate, person-centred environment.

The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and participating in activities and outings, including weekends and sleeps.

incredible individuals with a range of support needs including Mental Health,

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex
needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can
passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a
sometime challenging role but one with huge rewards.

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
• You will make a positive impact on someone’s life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
