Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker at Normandy House, Milton Keynes, to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support in line with individual plans and promote wellbeing.

No prior experience required—full training and a structured induction are provided. The rota includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive team.

About the Service - Normandy House

Normandy House in Shenley Lodge, Milton Keynes is a small care home specialising in the provision of services relating to accommodation for persons with dementia and learning disabilities. There is off road parking to the front of the house and an accessible rear garden.

The Role

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we'll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
