Job summary

Xander Recruitment Group is seeking compassionate support workers to provide person-centred care for individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs across Greater Manchester and Merseyside. You will promote independence, dignity, and well-being in varying settings.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, following care plans, supporting community participation, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns (including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required).
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service preferred but not essential
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care.
• Implement and follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Administer medication in line with company policies and training (where applicable).
• Support participation in community activities, education, or employment.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, shift handovers, and incident records.
