Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Support Worker for Levitt Mill & Barn on the outskirts of Maltby. This permanent, full-time role offers 35 hours weekly at £13.45 per hour in a residential setting for adults with learning disabilities or autism.

You will join a compassionate team, supporting residents with daily living, activities, and personal goals while ensuring safety and dignity in a peaceful, semi-rural environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.

Full Time – 35 hours

Hours:
Early shift 08.00 to 15.00
Late shift 15.00 to 22.00
There will be some occasions where there could be a long shift required from 08.00 to 22.00.

Levitt Mill and Barn has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team.

Levitt Mill and Barn is located on the outskirts of the small town of Maltby, close to Rotherham. It offers residential support for 11 males and females, who have a learning disability and/or are autistic. We are located in a semi-rural setting, in a listed building with its own unique history, situated in the centre of its own grounds in a peaceful woodland setting at the side of a small stream.

We can also support those who have:

• Difficulties with communication
• Mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge
• Epilepsy

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
