Job summary

CYGNET is recruiting full-time Support Workers at Maidstone, a 64-bed mental health facility in Kent Medical Campus. You’ll support nurses, observe patients, and help with care plans, ensuring dignity and safety. 38.5 hours weekly on a rota including days, nights, weekends; DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team to support treatment implementations and care plans.
• Compliment and provide support to the qualified nurses.
• Undertake safe observations of patients, sometimes 1:1 with staff.
• Meet the physical and emotional needs of service users with empathy.
• Play an active role in maintaining physical and mental wellbeing of patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment to live and work in.
• Work within Safeguarding guidelines and PMVA de-escalation training.
