Job summary

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Long Eaton. You will assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities, building strong relationships.

All roles require contributions on a part-time basis (17.5 hours/week) with shifts across 7 days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A driving role is required and a DBS check with references is standard.

Job description

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Long Eaton. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life.

This role requires you to be a driver.

• Part‑time: 17.5 hours per week

Shift times: All our services are 7 days a week. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life! Shift times vary each day but generally start at 0700hours and the latest finish is 2000hours.

• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
