Radis Community Care has an opening for a Support Worker at our Supported Living Service in Pump Piece, Leominster.
As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and mild learning disabilities. Responsibilities may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting social connections, community access, and attending appointments. We focus on supporting daily living skills and socialization.
We recognize each person as an individual and provide a person-centered, tailored service. The role aims to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, delivering high standards of support. We offer a safe and secure home environment where individuals with PMLD can live independently with appropriate support.
Various shifts available, including alternate weekends.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a qualification in health and social care (not essential) or experience working in supported living settings or with individuals with PMLD.
