Job summary

Action4Care is seeking dedicated support workers to join our team at Northfield House, Knayton. You will support vulnerable adults with autism, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, mental health needs, and epilepsy in a residential setting.

The role includes personal care, medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and community activities. We offer guaranteed contracted hours with overtime, full training, and NVQ funding.

Qualifications

Your role will be to work as part of a team supporting vulnerable adults within a shared residential home setting. This includes but is not limited to individuals with autism, Learning disabilities, Down syndrome, Mental health, Challenging behaviour and Epilepsy.

Our aim is provide person centred care to support and encourage service users to live as independently as possible whilst providing the right support to suit their needs. Your role will be to support individuals to carry out day to day activities both within their home and out in the community. You will also assist with personal care, administering medication, cooking, feeding, cleaning, shopping and general day to day tasks.

Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training is provided.

You must be willing to work a range of shifts on a 24 hour, 365 day basis (this includes bank holidays and weekends.) Shifts are allocated alongside the needs of each service and the service line managers will work closely with you for any commitments around your working schedule.

Pay : £12.87 per hour - £13.37 for overtime over 40 hours.

Shift: 8 hour, 10 hour, 12 hour, 14 hour (service dependant)

Job type: Full time, permanent.

Workdays: Monday to Sunday.
