Job summary

Locarno Road in Ipswich is seeking Female Support Workers to provide person-centred care in supported living settings. The role primarily covers night shifts with flexibility for day, weekend and holiday coverage.

You will support with personal care, daily living tasks, medication, community access and developing independence, under PBS and safeguarding guidelines. Full UK manual driving licence is essential, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable providing personal care
  • Knowledgeable about or willing to learn PBS
  • Understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health and safeguarding
  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays

Female Support Worker – ipswich

£14.00 per hour | Up to £34,000 per year + overtime
Full-time / Part-time | Permanent

URGENT RECRUITMENT

This role is predominately for night shifts, but will require you to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.

We are looking for female Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in Ipswich.

You will provide person-centred support to an individual in supported living, helping them maintain independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.

Due to the specific needs of the person we support, this role is open to female applicants only.

Essential Requirement

A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving a mobility vehicle and supporting community access.

Your Role

You will support with:

  • Personal care, including washing, bathing and toileting
  • Cooking, cleaning, shopping and daily living tasks
