Job summary

United Response is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Ipswich to assist deaf and hard of hearing individuals living independently. The role involves building meaningful relationships and supporting daily routines in line with personal support plans.

The position includes sleep-in shifts with an hourly rate of £13.25, 22.5 hours per week, and a range of staff benefits. Training is provided, and opportunities for career development are available within a respected charity.

Who will you be supporting?

We are currently looking for support workers to support deaf and hard of hearing individuals who live independently.

Sign language is not essential, but applicants must be willing to learn and develop their sign language skills as part of the role

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.
