Job summary

Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Support Workers to join a well-established supported living provider in Hounslow, West London. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mental health needs, delivering person-centred care to promote dignity, independence and positive outcomes.

The role involves helping with daily living activities, personal care, meals, appointments and community activities, while adhering to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Previous years experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals within a supported living environment.
• Encourage and promote independence with daily living activities, helping individuals develop essential life skills.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with cooking, cleaning, shopping and managing daily routines.
• Accompany service users to appointments, community activities and social outings.
• Support with medication administration in accordance with care plans and training.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate daily records, care plans and documentation.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of individuals.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends where required.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
