Job summary

A community support services provider is seeking compassionate individuals to assist service users in Glasgow. The role involves supporting personal care, medication, nutrition, and overall wellbeing, encouraging independence and community connections. No experience is necessary; a Full UK Driving License is desirable. Responsibilities

  • Support service users in personal care aspects.

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

You will work as part of the KPSS team to support service users in the community to help promote their independence.

Main responsibilities
  • Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
  • Support service users with medication where required.
  • Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
  • Carry out light house duties.

  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
  • Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.

  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
  • Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.
Desirable Requirements
  • Full UK Driving License
