Job summary

Keane Premier Group is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative for its care home in Glasgow. You will work within a close-knit team to maintain a hygienic, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, laundry management, and adherence to infection control guidelines. The role requires PVG clearance and two references, with training and progression available.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness throughout the care home.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and distributing linens and residents’ clothing.
• Ensure all laundry activities adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
• Monitor and maintain supplies of cleaning and hygiene products.
• Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions.
• Attend and be knowledgeable of all statutory training sessions including, Fire, Health and Safety, Moving and Handling and COSHH etc.
