Job summary

Quarriers Homelife Girvan Service provides flexible, person-centred support to people with mental health needs, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities—helping individuals live independently in their own homes and communities. We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team. This is a varied role with shifts over 7 days.

Location: Girvan (KA26 9BS). Hours: Relief and 20/25/30 hour contracts. Driving licence preferred.

Support Worker – Homelife Girvan Supported Living Service

Quarriers Homelife Girvan Service provides flexible, person-centred support to people with mental health needs, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities—helping individuals live independently in their own homes and communities.

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team. This is a varied role where flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support as you work a variety of shifts over 7 days.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing individualised care and support
• Encouraging people to take responsibility and make informed choices
• Supporting individuals to develop daily living skills
• Promoting access to social, leisure, and work-related activities
• Working in partnership with families and external agencies

Support is tailored to each individual and can range from a few hours a week to more intensive packages.

About you

• Is flexible and able to adapt to changing needs and shift patterns
• Is kind, patient, and respectful in their approach
• Has a genuine interest in supporting people to live independently
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Holds a full driving licence (preferred)

Previous experience is welcome but not essential—we’re more interested in your values and commitment.
