Job description

We are looking for thoughtful, caring, and inspiring people to join our team of support workers in Gosport & Fareham. We have four locations seeking support workers for days and sleep-in shifts on a part-time basis (between 25-30 hours per week).

Drivers are preferred but not essential.

Shift patterns vary; the earliest start is 7am, and the latest finish is 10pm. Sleep-in shifts are also available.

The Role:

1. Supporting with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
2. Assisting with managing finances.
3. Providing full support with personal care and manual handling.
4. Administering medication.
5. Supporting individuals in the community, including trips to day centres and health appointments.
6. Encouraging independence.

The homes are located in beautiful areas within walking distance to Stokes Bay and Stanley Park. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities and have vibrant personalities. We are looking for support workers who share similar interests and enjoy activities such as:

1. Going shopping.
2. Going to the cinema.
3. Listening to music, especially Elvis and The Beatles.
4. Visiting coffee shops for a coffee and chat.
5. Going out for meals.
6. Swimming.
7. Gardening and bird watching.
