You will provide daily living support, promote independence, and help customers access education, employment and leisure activities.

Ability Housing is looking for caring, enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our friendly team at Pound House, Dorking.
Our supported housing service provides specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, Down syndrome, autism and behaviours of concern. We support people both within our accommodation-based service and in their own homes across the local community, promoting independence, choice, inclusion and wellbeing.
Previous experience is welcome but not essential. If you have the right values and a willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You'll work alongside customers to help them live as independently as possible, supporting them to achieve their personal goals and enjoy meaningful lives.

A full UK driving licence would be desirable due to the community-based aspects of the role.
This role is subject to satisfactory employment references and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
