Job summary

CCH Group is seeking compassionate care professionals to join our Complex Care team in Detling near Maidstone. This role requires dedication to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support.

You will support a young adult with acquired brain injury, including PEG feeds, intermittent catheter care, medication administration and monitoring for seizures, using appropriate moving and handling techniques. Essentially you need clear communication, a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and

Responsibilities

• Provide PEG feeds and intermittent catheter care.
• Administer medications and monitor for seizures.
• Assist with moving & handling and daily living tasks as required.
• Maintain clear communication with the client and family.

Location: Detling

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.75 per hour

Shifts Available: 2:1 Days & Nights (8 am - 8 pm | 8 pm- 8 am) 2-3 Shifts Per Week

Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• PEG feeds (PEJ)
• Intermittent Catheter Care
• Medication Administration
• Monitoring the client's condition for seizures.
• Using moving & handling equipment.

Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.

Qualifications

What you'll need

Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:

• Intermittent catheter care.
• Suctioning machines.
• PEJs
• Seizure management and anti-seizure medication, rescue packs etc.

The only essential requirements is as follows:

• Clear Communication Skills.

• A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links.
