Job Description - Support Worker (25777)

Support Worker

Working across our services in Darlington and Home

Permanent, full-time 37.5 hrs per week, rota working, weekends with possible sleep-ins depending on service needs

Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) and enjoy great benefits including a Health Cash Plan

As our Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting customers with complex mental health needs to develop skills for more independent living. You’ll make a big difference each day by helping our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing, isn’t it?

Typical day as our Support Worker:

  1. Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, supporting their goals and outcomes in support plans.
  2. Supporting customers with mental health and complex needs.
  3. Helping with daily activities such as meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and moving to independent accommodation if able.
  4. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
  5. Building rapport through chats and catch-ups, with ample time to work alongside colleagues.

You bring:
