Leonard Cheshire in Edinburgh is seeking a Support Worker to provide daily living assistance to residents at Newhaven Road. You will support personal care, meals, and medications, helping people to live life on their own terms within a community-focused setting.

Full-time roles offer 37.5 hours weekly with shifts including 07:00-15:00 or 13:30-21:30. Eligible candidates should have at least one year of UK care experience and demonstrate a warm, flexible, and team-oriented approach.

Join Newhaven Road in Edinburgh as a Support Worker and play a key role in providing high-quality care and comfort to our service users.

A home, not just a service

Newhaven Road is a residential service in the north of Edinburgh supporting seven adults with physical disabilities. Located next to Victoria Park and close to local amenities including a bowling green, tennis courts, and a shopping centre, the service offers an active and community-focused environment. With excellent transport links into central Edinburgh, individuals are supported to enjoy social activities, independence, and meaningful daily experiences

We offer full-time hours, 37.5 hours per week.

Typical shifts: 07:00 -15:00 and 13.30 - 21.30.
