Our new service supports 4 people requiring emotional support, learning coping mechanisms, and expressing their true selves.
This role is about supporting individuals to live a gloriously ordinary life filled with opportunity, fun, and achievement of their goals. The role can be challenging, but the rewards are significant.
You will need to be adaptable, flexible, mature, and committed to helping our clients regain independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking, and innovative thinking. Some individuals may self-harm, experience anxiety, or display behaviors of concern.
Currently, all supported individuals have several hours of 1:1 support during the day, along with shared support during day and night shifts. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with people with enduring mental health issues, an interest in the psychology of complex behaviors, and a willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support.
Active Prospects is recruiting for Day and Night Support Worker(s) to join our complex care service in Brighton, East Sussex.
The new Brighton service is conveniently located near public transport, with a short walk from bus stops and train stations. Drivers are welcome—free onsite parking is available.
