Role Description
TIFA Life is recruiting for multiple Support Worker roles across South Wales, including Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot, Merthyr, and Powys. These are contract-based positions supporting young people in semi-independent accommodation settings. Responsibilities include promoting independence, developing life skills (such as cooking, budgeting, and time management), and supporting access to education, training, and employment. Roles involve key working, safeguarding, risk monitoring, and partnership working with external agencies.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience supporting vulnerable young people (care leavers or UASC preferred)
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Empathy, patience, and a trauma-informed approach
Level 2 or 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
Driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for most roles)
